Editing, Line Editing

Our goal is to view your manuscript with objectivity, determine overall readability, make corrections and suggestions as
needed (always keeping "author style" in mind), and return it to you ready for submission to a publisher.

An extensive line edit for punctuation, spelling, and grammar is always included. We also research for the correct spelling
of names, places and such when needed. If unable to make a determination, the item will be highlighted and questioned.
Sentence and paragraph structure is examined. Plot and character structure are followed, and suggestions made if
questioned. A minimum of three complete reads, alternating between two readers, are executed.

Upon completion, in addition to returning your edited manuscript in the word processing format submitted, a PDF file in
book format, ready for print in your choice of size, is also included. After reviewing, if you need to make changes, we will
do so.

For any of our work, be it book editing, proofreading, website text, or any other work, averages $.004 per word
($20.00 per 5,000 words), and could increase or decrease depending on the amount of work involved. Your writing is
read line by line, word by word, but some may require more work. A minimum charge of $20.00 will apply.
